Job Description
Import and export professionals manage international trade operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating logistics, and facilitating the smooth movement of goods across borders.
- Working closely with logistics and shipment companies to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Prepare and manage all import and export documentation
- Develop and maintain relationships with customs brokers and other relevant entities
- Analyse logistical problems and plan transport routes
- Plan and implement import and export strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization
- Provide guidance on customs and import/export regulations
- Resolve any legal issues pertaining to import and export processes
