# Eligibility

### Essential Qualifications

* B.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)

* GNM

* BAMS

### Experience

* Minimum 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience.

* Experience in hospitals, assisted living, rehabilitation centres, critical care or similar healthcare settings.

* Prior experience in supervising nursing teams or patient care operations will be preferred.

Candidates must possess sound knowledge of nursing procedures, medication management, emergency response and patient care protocols.

# Role Summary

The Chief Host – Shift Operations is responsible for ensuring smooth clinical and operational functioning of the facility during the assigned shift.

The role combines clinical leadership, resident care, team supervision and quality management to ensure every resident receives safe, compassionate and dignified care.

# Key Responsibilities

## Clinical Leadership

* Supervise resident care during the assigned shift.

* Ensure nursing procedures, medication administration and clinical SOPs are followed.

* Coordinate with doctors and senior management whenever required.

* Handle medical emergencies efficiently.

* Monitor residents and ensure timely escalation of clinical concerns.

## Resident Experience

* Build positive relationships with residents and their families.

* Address concerns promptly and professionally.

* Ensure a warm, respectful and resident-centric environment throughout the shift.

## Team Leadership

* Supervise caregivers, nurses and support staff during the shift.

* Allocate responsibilities and monitor execution.

* Ensure discipline, accountability and teamwork.

* Provide day-to-day guidance to the care team.

## Facility Operations

* Ensure smooth functioning of all operational activities during the shift.

* Monitor hygiene, housekeeping, safety and infection control practices.

* Coordinate admissions, discharges and resident transfers as required.

* Ensure accurate shift handovers and continuity of care.

## Quality & Compliance

* Maintain accurate clinical and operational documentation.

* Conduct routine quality checks during the shift.

* Report incidents, observations and improvement opportunities.

* Ensure compliance with organisational SOPs and quality standards.

# Work Schedule

This is a rotational shift-based leadership role.

**Shift A**

* 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

**Shift B**

* 7:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Shift rotations and weekly offs will be planned by the management based on operational requirements.
