Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Taxation Professional with strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory compliance, and accounting. The candidate should also be proficient in Tally Prime and willing to handle reconciliations, and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliation. 

• Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with books of accounts and GST portal data. 

• Calculate, deduct TDS with CA

• Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, and other statutory liabilities. 

• Review purchase and sales invoices for correct application of GST, TDS, RCM, CGST, SGST, and IGST. 

• Handle tax notices, assessments, audits, and communication with consultants/authorities. 

• Keep updated with changes in taxation and compliance requirements. 

Tally & Accounting

• Generate accounting and taxation reports from Tally. 

• Ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate financial records. 

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare monthly MIS and taxation reports. 

• Coordinate with CA, auditors, management, vendors, and internal accounts teams. 

• Provide required documents and reconciliations for statutory and internal audits. 

• Maintain proper records of tax returns, challans, invoices, and supporting documents. 

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance. 

• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime. 

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and reconciliations. 

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. 

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
