Shift Timing: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Examinations are conducted at various centres across the country, and System Operators play a critical role in ensuring smooth examination operations and technical readiness.

• Educational Qualification & EligibilityBachelor's or Master's degree in Arts, Commerce or Science.
• Candidates with a 3-year diploma may also be considered.
• Candidate must be 18 years or above.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office is required.
• Hardware and Networking certification will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be disciplined, ethical, adaptable and professionally responsible.
• Must be willing to work extended hours whenever required.
• Willingness to travel as per operational requirements.
• Must own a two-wheeler.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Technical Operations

• Ensure smooth execution of examinations conducted by TCS iON.
• Check and maintain the readiness of IT infrastructure and examination systems.
• Perform LAN setup, system checks and mock tests before examinations.
• Monitor computer systems, network connectivity and other technical assets.
• Ensure sufficient backup systems and equipment are available.

2. Examination Centre Management

• Manage pre-examination and post-examination activities.
• Coordinate with examination functionaries and centre management teams.
• Ensure all examination-related SOPs are followed.
• Monitor examination activities and report operational issues promptly.

3. Infrastructure & Asset Management

• Continuously monitor IT infrastructure and technical assets.
• Identify and report technical issues or potential disruptions.
• Coordinate with local infrastructure service providers and TCS iON Digital Zone Partners.
• Ensure timely technical support to maintain uninterrupted examination operations.

4. Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain timely reporting of all operational activities and incidents.
• Follow company policies, operational guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Remain alert, proactive and responsible throughout examination operations.
• Desired Skills & CompetenciesBasic understanding of computer hardware and networking.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

• Important Employment InformationThis position is on a third-party payroll of First Meridian (Innovsource).
• Candidates will be deployed at designated TCS iON examination centres.
• Full-time employment.
• 12-hour shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Rotational weekly off.
