Core Responsibilities

• Installation: Conduct site surveys to identify optimal camera placements, lay cables, and install various camera types (IP, analog, PTZ, Dome) and monitors. [1, 2, 3]
• System Configuration: Set up and integrate video management software, configure IP addresses, and establish remote viewing setups for clients. [1, 2, 3, 4]
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose hardware and software faults, repair or replace defective components, and perform routine system testing. [1, 2]

Key Requirements & Skills

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, and networking (TCP/IP, routers, switches). [1, 2]
• Physical Capabilities: Must be comfortable climbing ladders, working at heights, and operating in confined spaces or various weather conditions. [1, 2]
• Tools: Proficiency with standard hand tools, power drills, and cable testers. [1]
