Job Description
🍽️ CONTINENTAL COMMIS 1 / 2 / 3
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Continental dishes as per restaurant standards.
- Handle basic food preparation, mise en place, and plating.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Assist senior chefs during service and daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and kitchen SOPs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Continental kitchen preferred.
- Good knowledge of Continental cuisine and basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Team player with good discipline and hygiene practices.
Commis 1: More experienced; independently handles sections and supports senior chefs.
Commis 2: Intermediate-level kitchen experience; handles preparation and basic cooking.
Commis 3: Entry-level; assists with preparation, mise en place, and kitchen support.
