Job Description

  • Job ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and assist them with product selection and purchases.
  • Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and ongoing offers.
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales targets through active selling and upselling.
  • Handle billing, POS transactions, cash, and digital payments accurately.
  • Maintain product displays, shelf arrangements, and overall store cleanliness.
  • Monitor stock availability, replenish shelves, and report low-stock items.
  • Check product expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Support inventory counting, stock receiving, and daily store operations.
  • Promote new launches, offers, combos, and seasonal products.
  • Skills & QualificationsMinimum qualification: 12th Pass; Graduates preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail, FMCG, grocery, or counter sales is an advantage.
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Basic knowledge of billing systems and digital payments.
  • Ability to achieve sales targets and recommend products confidently.
  • Basic computer knowledge and inventory-handling skills.
  • Honest, punctual, well-groomed, and customer-focused.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
