Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Transport goods: Pick up orders, load them into a vehicle or delivery bag, and drive or ride to the drop-off address.
- Check orders: Review items before and after delivery to make sure packages are complete and correct.
- Handle payments: Collect cash or digital payments from clients when required.
- Provide service: Greet customers politely, answer basic questions, and handle any delivery complaints.
- Follow rules: Obey traffic laws, road safety guidelines, and maintain a safe driving record. [1, 2, 3]
Job Requirements
- Valid license: Hold a valid driver's license or two-wheeler license with a clean driving record.
- Local knowledge: Know local roads, shortcuts, and how to use GPS navigation apps.
- Physical fitness: Be able to lift packages, climb stairs, and work in changing weather conditions.
- Time management: Be punctual, reliable, and able to manage daily delivery schedules.
