business lending. We are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Executive to strengthen our audit and

compliance framework, ensuring adherence to RBI regulations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct risk-based internal audits of Payment Gateway operations, merchant onboarding, transaction

processing, settlements, reconciliations, refunds, and chargeback processes.

 Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure compliance with RBI regulations, Payment

Aggregator (PA) guidelines, and internal policies.

 Review operational processes to identify control gaps, compliance issues, and potential risks, and

recommend corrective actions.

 Verify the accuracy of settlements, merchant reconciliations, nodal account processes, and transaction

reporting.

 Assess compliance with regulatory requirements, internal SOPs, and audit standards.

 Prepare detailed audit reports, document findings, and present recommendations to management.

 Monitor the implementation and closure of audit observations through timely follow-ups.

 Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Finance, Operations, Technology, and external auditors during

statutory, RBI, and internal audits.

 Support the development and enhancement of audit processes, risk frameworks, and internal control

mechanisms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA Inter, CIA, CISA, or

equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.

 2–5 years of Internal Audit experience in a Payment Gateway, Payment Aggregator, Fintech, Banking,

or Payments organization.

 Strong understanding of Payment Gateway operations, merchant lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations,

chargebacks, refunds, nodal accounts, and payment flows.

 Good knowledge of RBI regulations, Payment Aggregator (PA) Guidelines, KYC/AML requirements,

and regulatory compliance.

 Proficiency in MS Excel and audit documentation/reporting.

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Experience

 Experience in conducting operational, process, and compliance audits within the digital payments

ecosystem.

 Exposure to RBI inspections, statutory audits, or regulatory reviews.

 Familiarity with risk and control frameworks, SOP reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
