Laptop Repair Technician

We are looking for an experienced Laptop Repair Engineer who has strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in motherboard repair, chip-level repair, and card-level troubleshooting.

The candidate should be capable of diagnosing and repairing laptop hardware faults at component level, including motherboard faults, power issues, charging problems, display issues, and other hardware-related problems.

• Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair laptop motherboards at chip/component level.
• Perform chip-level and card-level motherboard repairs.
• Troubleshoot laptop no power, no display, charging, short circuit, overheating, and intermittent fault issues.
• Identify faulty components using multimeter, DC power supply, oscilloscope and other diagnostic tools.
• Perform IC replacement, SMD soldering/desoldering and component-level repair.
• Diagnose and repair DC jack/charging circuit, power section, display circuit, USB/Type-C circuit and other motherboard sections.
• Perform BIOS programming/reprogramming where required.
• Replace laptop parts such as LCD/display, keyboard, battery, RAM, SSD/HDD, cooling fan, speakers, hinges, DC jack and other components.
• Conduct proper testing after repair to ensure the laptop is fully functional.
• Identify whether a problem requires component-level repair or part replacement.
• Maintain proper records of repaired devices and replaced components.
• Handle customer laptops carefully and maintain good quality standards.
• Hands-on experience in chip-level motherboard repair.
• Experience with BGA/IC-related repair work is preferred.
• Good soldering and microsoldering skills.
• Ability to read and understand motherboard schematics and boardview files.
• Knowledge of different laptop brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, MSI, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot faults independently from diagnosis to final testing.
