Picker / Packer

Key Responsibilities

• Picking Orders: Read order sheets or use handheld scanners to locate and gather correct products from warehouse shelves.
• Quality Control: Inspect items for damage, defects, or missing parts before preparing them for delivery.
• Packing and Labeling: Select appropriate boxes, wrap fragile goods, seal packages, and apply accurate shipping labels.
• Inventory Management: Update computer systems, track stock levels, and report low inventory or damaged goods to supervisors.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the packing and working area clean, organized, and compliant with safety rules.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Attention to Detail: Verify product numbers and quantities to prevent shipping mistakes.
• Physical Stamina: Stand or walk for long shifts and frequently lift heavy packages (often up to 40–50 lbs).

• Basic Literacy and Math: Read order lists and count inventory accurately.
