Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Floor Supervision: Oversees a specific dining section or outlet to ensure smooth, fast, and polite service.
- Staff Guidance: Trains new waiters, assigns side-duties, runs pre-shift briefings, and checks staff grooming and punctuality.
- Guest Relations: Greets guests, takes complex food or wine orders, recommends menu items, and resolves any complaints.
- Communication: Coordinates directly with the kitchen and bar to guarantee timely order delivery.
- Operations Support: Helps manage table settings, inventory counts for cutlery and glassware, and basic billing or closing duties
