Salon Manager

Hair Poetry is seeking a polished, proactive, and organized Receptionist cum Manager to oversee our front desk and daily salon operations in Mumbai. In this dual role, you will be the primary face of the salon—delivering exceptional customer service, managing appointments, coordinating staff, and ensuring smooth, premium salon experiences for every client.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Client Experience

Greet incoming clients warmly, handle check-ins/check-outs, and offer refreshments.

Manage phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, online bookings, and walk-in consultations.

Coordinate appointment scheduling, optimize stylist time slots, and manage client wait times.

Address client feedback, special requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.

Salon Operations & Floor Management

Oversee daily opening and closing procedures of the salon.

Ensure the reception area, styling stations, and treatment rooms remain spotless, orderly, and hygienic at all times.

Supervise support staff, housekeeping, and front-of-house workflow to ensure high service standards.

Coordinate with senior stylists and colorists to balance walk-in flow and booked appointments.

Billing, Cash Handling & Inventory

Operate POS software to generate accurate invoices, apply discount codes/memberships, and process cash, card, and UPI payments.

Manage daily cash registers, reconcile end-of-day sales, and share daily revenue reports with management.

Track retail product sales and salon supplies; alert management when restocking is needed.
