Job Description
The Cafe Staff member is the friendly face of the coffee shop, responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations at the counter, serving guests with a positive attitude, and keeping the workspace clean and safe. [1]
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, handle billing at the counter, and serve food and beverages promptly.
- Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and basic food items or snacks following hygiene and brand standards.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean dining and counter area, clear tables, wash dishes or utensils, and empty trash bins regularly.
- Inventory & Packing: Pack take-away orders accurately and help restock shelves, display units, and supplies during slower hours.
- Teamwork: Assist coworkers during peak rush hours to ensure fast and efficient service
