Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related security equipment.
  • Lay and terminate network, power, and coaxial cables.
  • Configure IP cameras, network video recorders (NVR), digital video recorders (DVR), and remote viewing applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in CCTV systems, networking, and connectivity.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
  • Replace or repair faulty cameras, cables, connectors, power supplies, and other hardware.
  • Ensure proper camera positioning, recording quality, and system functionality.
  • Maintain installation and service reports.
  • Provide technical support and user training to customers.
  • Follow company safety standards and installation procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of analog and IP CCTV systems.
  • Experience with DVR, NVR, IP cameras, and video management systems.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, routers, switches).
  • Cable routing, crimping, termination, and testing skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Field-based job with travel to customer locations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments when required.
  • Availability to attend emergency service calls if needed.
