Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning: Lead the installation, system configuration, and hand-over of advanced imaging modalities (MRI, CT, Cath Lab, Ultrasound) at customer sites.
Breakdown Troubleshooting: Promptly diagnose and resolve complex electronic, mechanical, and imaging pipeline faults down to the board/component level.
Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Calibration: Execute scheduled PM protocols, beam/detector alignments, image quality testing, and electrical safety compliance.
Site Support & Customer Relations: Coordinate site readiness (RF shielding, chillers, power conditioning), provide technical guidance to hospital radiologists/biomedical teams, and maintain high machine uptime.
Service Documentation: Timely generation of detailed Field Service Reports (FSRs), spare parts requisitions, and service log updates.
Candidate Requirements
Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Biomedical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 1–2 + years of verified hands-on field experience servicing diagnostic imaging systems.
Priority Skills: Proven track record in troubleshooting one or more of the following:
CT Scanners (Gantry, high-voltage generators, detectors)
MRI Systems (Cryogenics/chillers, RF systems, gradient coils)
Cath Labs / Angiography (C-arm mechanics, image intensifiers, flat-panel detectors)
Ultrasound Systems (Transducers, front-end boards, acoustic calibration)
Mobility: Valid driving license and readiness for immediate local and outstation travel.
