Store Manager

Job Description: Electrical Site Storekeeper

Responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking electrical materials, tools, and equipment at the project site.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive electrical materials and verify quantities, condition, specifications, delivery notes, and purchase orders.
• Maintain organized storage for cables, conduits, panels, breakers, fittings, lighting fixtures, tools, and consumables.
• Issue materials only against approved material requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, bin cards, inward/outward records, and inventory reports.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the site engineer/procurement team of shortages or slow-moving items.
• Conduct periodic physical stock checks and reconcile variances.
• Ensure materials are protected from theft, damage, moisture, and unsafe storage.
• Segregate defective, damaged, excess, and returned materials; maintain related records.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, procurement, and suppliers.
• Maintain housekeeping, labeling, stacking, and safe access within the store.
• Follow site HSE requirements, especially for storage of electrical equipment and hazardous materials.
• Prepare daily/weekly material receipt, issue, balance, and pending-delivery reports.

Requirements:

• Plus Two/ITI.Diploma or equivalent; storekeeping experience on electrical or MEP construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical materials and basic inventory procedures.
• Familiarity with Excel and ERP/material-management systems.
• Good documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
