Job Description
- Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations: Maintain daily books of accounts, sales and purchase entries, cash and bank transactions, journal entries, and ledger reconciliation.
- GST & Statutory Compliance: Handle GST invoicing, GSTR preparation, TDS, and other statutory records in coordination with the Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Monitor customer outstanding payments, follow up on collections, verify supplier bills, and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Banking & Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliation, cash management, and verification of financial transactions.
- Project Accounting: Track project-wise expenses, material costs, service billing, AMC invoices, and profitability wherever applicable.
- Inventory Coordination: Reconcile stock records with accounts and coordinate with the Stores Department for periodic stock verification.
- Payroll & Monthly Closing: Assist in salary processing, employee expense accounting, monthly closing, and preparation of financial statements.
- Software & MIS: Maintain accurate accounting records using Busywin, preferably, and prepare periodic financial reports for management.
- CA Coordination: Coordinate with the concerned CA for both companies, ensuring timely monthly returns, statutory filings, and related documentation.
- Documentation & Controls: Maintain proper vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, payment records, and supporting documents for audits.
- Qualifications & Experience M.Com/B com or equivalent qualification in Commerce/Accounting.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in HVAC, engineering, contracting, or project-based industries.
- Good working knowledge of Busywin Accounting Software is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally or similar accounting systems, and MS Excel.
- Experience in project accounting, inventory reconciliation, and vendor/customer account management is an advantage.
- Working Style & ExpectationsMaintain accuracy, confidentiality, and discipline in all financial records.
- Complete monthly accounting activities, statutory returns, and salary processing within prescribed timelines.
- Coordinate effectively with management, stores, project teams, vendors, customers, and the CA.
- Demonstrate ownership, proactive follow-up, and timely reporting of financial discrepancies.
