Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT support team. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting desktop/laptop hardware and software issues, maintaining network connectivity, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Freshers with good technical knowledge and candidates with relevant IT support experience are encouraged to apply.

• Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level and second-level technical support to users.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain desktop computers, laptops and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating system and software-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware problems related to RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, motherboard, keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.
• Install and configure Windows OS, drivers, antivirus and required applications.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet and basic networking issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners and other IT peripherals.
• Perform preventive maintenance of computers and IT equipment.
• Handle user complaints and resolve technical issues within the required time.
• Maintain records of IT assets, service requests, repairs and replacements.
• Assist with basic network devices such as switches, routers and access points.
• Provide technical support at client locations whenever required.
• Coordinate with senior engineers/vendors for complex technical issues.
• Prepare basic service reports and daily/weekly support updates.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi.
• Knowledge of printer and scanner troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues independently.
• Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
• Good customer service and professional attitude.

Preferred SkillsKnowledge of any of the following will be an advantage:

• Active Directory and Windows Server
• Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
• CCTV systems
• Networking and network troubleshooting
• Switches, routers and Wi-Fi
• Antivirus and endpoint security
• Backup and storage
• IT asset management
• AMC/CAMC support environment
• Educational QualificationDiploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA or other computer/IT-related qualification.
• Relevant technical certification will be an added advantage.

Experience0–3 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Hardware & Networking, or a related field.
