Accountant

About the Role

LegaFin Advisors is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of day-to-day accounting, taxation and financial documentation, along with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts

Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries

Prepare and maintain bank, vendor and customer reconciliations

Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance-related work

Prepare invoices and maintain supporting financial documents

Assist in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams for accounting-related requirements

Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial records

Assist with audits and other accounting assignments as required

Skills Required

Good knowledge of accounting principles

Working knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel

Basic understanding of GST and TDS

Good numerical and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage work independently and meet deadlines

Good communication and coordination skills
