Area Sales Executive

Job Description – Field Sales Executive

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for expanding Genie Battery’s dealer network, generating sales and supporting dealers with local lead-generation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit EV dealers, automobile workshops and spare-parts shops regularly

• Identify, approach and onboard new dealers

• Explain Genie Battery products, pricing, warranty and dealer benefits

• Generate enquiries and convert them into orders

• Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers

• Collect repeat orders and follow up on pending opportunities

• Plan and conduct local marketing and customer-awareness campaigns

• Organize lead-generation activities to increase customer enquiries for dealers

• Coordinate with dealers and follow up with campaign leads until conversion

• Collect customer feedback and competitor information from the market

• Achieve monthly dealer onboarding, lead-generation and sales targets

• Submit daily reports covering visits, leads, follow-ups, campaigns and orders

Candidate Requirements

• Good communication and convincing skills in Tamil

• Strong interest in field sales and dealer development

• Ability to plan and execute local marketing campaigns

• Willingness to travel regularly for market visits

• Self-motivated, disciplined and comfortable working with sales targets

• Previous experience in automobile, EV, battery, FMCG, finance, insurance or field sales will be an advantage

• Freshers with strong communication skills and an interest in sales may also apply
