Job Description
- Prepare fresh, hygienic and tasty Maharashtrian home-style food for a family of 6 adults.
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
- Cook a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
- Must be experienced in cooking chicken, mutton, fish and egg dishes.
- Must be able to make bhakri (jowar/bajra/rice bhakri) properly.
- Prepare regular Maharashtrian dishes such as poli/chapati, bhaji, usal, amti, varan, dal, rice, koshimbir, chutneys, etc.
- Maintain consistency in taste and portion sizes.
- Handle basic food preparation, chopping, grinding, marination and cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and while handling raw meat/fish.
- Keep the kitchen and cooking area clean and organised after cooking.
- Plan daily meals and manage ingredients efficiently.
- Should be comfortable preparing both simple everyday meals and occasional special dishes.
