Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP/accounting software.
• Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.
• Maintain cash book, bank book and ledger accounts.
• Prepare and verify invoices, purchase bills and supporting documents.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
• Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Follow up for outstanding payments and maintain receivable statements.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of basic MIS reports.
• Maintain proper filing of bills, vouchers and accounting documents.
• Coordinate with purchase, sales, stores and administration departments for accounting requirements.
• Assist senior accountants during audit and financial year-end activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Office Timing

• 9am to 6:30pm
• 6 days working

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP software.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to prepare and maintain ledgers and reconciliations.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
