Job Description
- Prepare and cook authentic Asian cuisine as per restaurant standards.
- Handle Asian cuisines such as Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Pan-Asian dishes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage daily kitchen operations and coordinate with the kitchen team.
- Maintain food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor food preparation, wastage, and portion control.
- Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with the Purchase team.
- Train and supervise Commis and junior kitchen staff.
- Develop new dishes and contribute to menu planning when required.
- Ensure timely preparation and smooth service during peak hours.
- Follow company SOPs and maintain kitchen discipline.
- Required Experience in Asian/Pan-Asian cuisine, Thai, Japanese cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Asian ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Good team management and communication skills.
- Experience in a reputed restaurant/hotel will be preferred.
