Business Development Manager


Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition, revenue growth and strategic customer relationships in logistics and warehousing.


Experience & Qualification: -


  • 5–8+ years of relevant experience in 3PL / Logistics / Warehousing Business Development.
  • Experience in Logistics (FMCG, Pharma, Cold Chain, E-commerce or Retail preferred).
  • Graduate/MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, Logistics field preferred.
  • Key Responsibilities Generate and acquire new 3PL Warehousing & logistics business.
  • Identify leads, conduct client meetings and manage the complete sales cycle.
  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable logistics solutions. Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
  • Coordinate with Operations & Finance for costing and pricing. Negotiate commercials and close profitable deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Manage sales pipeline, follow-ups, forecasts and MIS.
  • Identify cross-selling, upselling and new market opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth client on boarding with the Operations team.


Must-Have Skills : -

  • Strong 3PL/Logistics B2B sales experience.
  • Proven track record of lead generation and business conversion.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills & strong negotiation and commercial understanding.
  • Excellent client relationship and networking skills & target-oriented and result-driven approach.
  • Good knowledge of AI, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and MIS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Existing network in Logistics Pharma, E-commerce, Retail or Corporate sectors.
  • Knowledge of warehousing, transportation and cold-chain solutions.
