Job Description
The Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business, increasing sales from existing customers, expanding the customer/dealer network and creating a strong sales pipeline across automotive, aftermarket, power/utility and solar segments.
The person will be expected to spend significant time in the field meeting customers and developing business rather than working only from the office.
- 3. Key ResponsibilitiesA. New Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop new customers in target industries.
- Generate new enquiries and RFQs.
- Identify new OEM, Tier-1/Tier-2, EPC, contractor, distributor and dealer opportunities.
- Develop relationships with Purchase, Engineering, Quality, Project and Management teams.
- Convert prospects into approved customers.
- Develop alternate-source opportunities with existing approved customers.
- Track opportunities from first meeting through quotation, sample, approval, trial and regular order
