Job SummaryWe are looking for passionate and hardworking Commis 1, Commis 2, and Commis 3 to join our Continental Kitchen team. The successful candidates will assist in food preparation and production, maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene, and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and production of Continental dishes as per standard recipes.
• Carry out mise en place, including cutting, chopping, marinating, portioning and preparation of ingredients.
• Prepare soups, sauces, salads, pasta, vegetables, meat, seafood and other Continental preparations.
• Follow appropriate cooking techniques including grilling, roasting, sautéing, baking, frying and braising.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size and presentation.
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling and handling of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned workstation, equipment and kitchen area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.
• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Support the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen team during daily operations and service.
• Ensure all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and maintained.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Follow all instructions, recipes and standards provided by senior chefs.
