Job Description
Handle daily kitchen operations and manage the assigned section.
Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
Maintain food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
Monitor food wastage and control food costs.
Ensure proper stock management and coordinate with the store.
Guide and supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
Ensure timely food preparation and smooth service operations.
Follow standard recipes, portion control, and plating guidelines.
Maintain discipline and coordination within the kitchen team.
Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef with menu planning and daily operations.
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of food items (FIFO).
