Job Description
- Job ResponsibilitiesAttend to patients in the Emergency Department, IPD and OPD as required.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, clinical examinations and prepare treatment plans.
- Manage routine medical emergencies and provide immediate stabilisation.
- Monitor admitted patients and regularly assess their clinical progress.
- Attend emergency calls and respond promptly to critical patient conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, investigations and treatment as per clinical protocols.
- Coordinate with consultants, specialists, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, treatment charts and discharge summaries.
- Ensure proper handover of patients during shift changes.
- Follow hospital infection-control protocols, patient-safety standards and medical ethics.
- Ensure timely escalation and referral of patients requiring specialist or higher-level care.
