A CASA Sales Officer is a frontline banking professional responsible for acquiring new Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) customers and cross-selling financial products. [1, 2]
Core Responsibilities
- Account Acquisition: Open new savings and current accounts by targeting customers in assigned branch catchment areas or open markets.
- KYC Compliance: Complete customer onboarding and KYC (Know Your Customer) verifications following bank guidelines.
- Cross-Selling: Promote additional banking products like debit cards, mobile banking, fixed deposits (FD), and recurring deposits (RD).
- Relationship Building: Maintain connections with clients to generate referrals and secure long-term liability deposits. [1, 2, 3]
