Job Description
Job Summary :
We are looking for a Jr. Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, process invoices and payments, and assist the senior accounts team with routine accounting and reporting work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and enter sales and purchase invoices.
- Record receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
- Maintain cash book, bank book, purchase, sales and ledger accounts.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Verify bills, invoices, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and payables.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reports and account statements.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing and payments.
- Support senior accountants during audits and month-end closing.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting entries.
- Knowledge of Tally / Busy Accounting Software will be an advantage.
