Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Handle product demos and get the material ready for each demo.
• Find new avenues for business growth.
• Be responsible for service calls and customer complaints, and ensure their timely resolution within the stipulated time frame.
• Handle a team of engineers and align them for demos and service calls.
• Manage and coordinate overall project operations and ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors and internal teams for material, technical support and timelines.
• Plan, supervise and monitor project execution and site activities.
• Ensure timely installation, commissioning and site completion as per project requirements.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables, and report progress to management.
• Handle logistics, including dispatch planning, material movement, delivery tracking and site receipt.
• Coordinate manpower, including site engineers, technicians and contract labour, and ensure proper deployment.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges, delays and site issues quickly.
• Ensure documentation for each project, including delivery challans, installation reports, completion certificates and handover records.
• Support billing and closure by coordinating with accounts on completion documents and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure quality standards, safety practices and customer satisfaction at project sites.
• Ensure smooth execution and timely closure of projects.

Required Skills

• Strong project coordination and execution skills.
• Good understanding of installation and commissioning activities and site management.
• Experience in working with OEMs, vendors and contractors.
• Knowledge of logistics and manpower planning.
• Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
• Good communication, leadership and team-handling skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office and project tracking tools.
• QualificationsGraduate or Diploma holder in Engineering (B.Tech / Diploma preferred) or Business Administration.
• Around 5 years of relevant experience in project operations, site execution or operations management.
