Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
* Identify and cold visit factories, fabricators, and manufacturing units in industrial estates (Jagadhri, Kundli/Sonipat, Bahadurgarh, Faridabad, Manesar, Rohtak, and surrounding clusters) that generate SS 304, SS 316, SS 310, alloy steel, and related scrap
* Build direct relationships with stores managers, factory supervisors, and owners — the people who control scrap disposal decisions
* Pitch OG IMPEX as a preferred scrap lifting partner: explain our GST-compliant invoicing, better rates, reliable pickup schedule, and XRF-verified grade recognition
* Negotiate scrap buy rates on the spot within company-approved price bands
* Arrange and coordinate pickups with our logistics team — ensure material is lifted on the committed schedule without fail
* Maintain a daily generator visit log and report: factory name, address, contact person, grade of scrap available, volume per month, and current buyer
* Follow up with existing generators on a weekly/fortnightly basis to maintain relationship and secure repeat business
* Identify new industrial clusters, estates, and manufacturing belts that are underserviced and report them for territory expansion
* Collect basic generator documentation: GST number, owner/stores contact, approximate monthly scrap volume
* Report daily field activity, lead status, and collections to reporting manager via WhatsApp/call
