Job Description
- Bookkeeping & Transactions: Record daily sales, purchases, cash flows, and expense transactions in the accounting system. [1]
- Inventory & Stock Management: Track inventory receipts, transfers, and stock balances; prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and reconcile physical stock counts with system records. [1]
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, manage vendor reconciliations, and handle customer billing or returns. [1, 2]
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile bank statements, credit card terminals, and store P&L (Profit & Loss) statements on a monthly basis. [1, 2, 3]
- Compliance & Audits: Support internal and external audits, track tax regulations (such as VAT or GST compliance), and maintain audit-ready documentation. [1, 2]
- Budgeting & Analysis: Assist store and finance managers with basic financial forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control. [1, 2]
