We are looking for an Accountant to join our team. The role will provide the candidate with practical exposure to accounting, taxation, GST, audits and other finance-related assignments, offering an opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and accounting records for clients.
• Pass accounting entries and perform day-to-day bookkeeping.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, trial balances, bank reconciliations and other accounting schedules.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist in GST compliance, including preparation of GST workings, reconciliations and returns.
• Assist in TDS and other statutory compliances.
• Support the team in income-tax related work, including preparation of workings and information required for tax filings.
• Assist in audit assignments, including verification of books, vouchers and supporting documents.
• Perform GST and tax reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with clients for accounting records, documents and other information required for assignments.
• Maintain proper documentation and working papers.
• Assist senior team members in various accounting, taxation and advisory assignments as required.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• Prior experience in accounting or a CA firm will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS and income-tax provisions.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication and client coordination skills.
