Backend/Node.js Developer

We’re looking for a Backend Developer who understands backend fundamentals and canbuild reliable, secure, and scalable APIs.

Required Skills

• Node.js & Express.js
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals
• REST API development and integration
• MongoDB / PostgreSQL and database fundamentals
• Authentication & authorisation (JWT, sessions, roles/permissions)
• Postman for API testing
• Basic Git knowledge
• Error handling, validation, and debugging
• Basic understanding of security and performance

Backend Fundamentals

• You should understand how things work beyond just writing API endpoints:
• Request/response lifecycle
• Database design and queries
• Authentication & authorization
• API structure and status codes
• Error handling and logging
• Environment variables and configuration
• Basic caching and performance concepts

AI Usage

We encourage using AI tools and coding agents. Using AI heavily (even ~70%) is fine, butyou must understand the code and backend fundamentals.

You should be able to explain, debug, modify, and improve AI-generated code rather thandepending on AI 100%.
