Job Description
Billing Engineer
Prepare, review, and submit client invoices based on approved work orders, contracts, BOQs, and project progress.
Verify quantities, measurements, rates, taxes, deductions, and supporting documents before billing.
Prepare interim and final bills, variation claims, extra-item claims, and reconciliation statements.
Coordinate with project, quantity surveying, procurement, finance, and client teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
Track submitted invoices, approvals, certifications, payments, and outstanding amounts.
Maintain accurate billing records and prepare regular billing and revenue reports.
Review subcontractor/vendor bills and verify them against approved measurements and contractual terms.
Ensure billing activities comply with company procedures, project contracts, and applicable tax requirements.
Assist with cost monitoring, budget reconciliation, and project financial documentation.
Support audits by maintaining complete and properly organized billing documentation.
