Chartered Accountant

Position : Financial Controller (DGM / GM – Finance & Accounts)

Reporting To Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Interfaces CEO and Managing Director (regular direct interaction), statutory auditors, banks

Salary : 24 Lac to 36 Lac

Location Corporate Office, Noida-201301

Industry Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Solar EPC

Qualification Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory

Experience 3–10 years post-qualification in accounting, financial control

Key Responsibilities

1. Books of Accounts & Closing

• Full ownership of the books of accounts of the company and all group entities / SPVs — accuracy,

completeness, and timely closure.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing; finalisation of standalone and consolidated financial

statements under Ind AS.

• Project cost accounting and WIP recognition appropriate to EPC revenue recognition norms.

2. Audit & Compliance

• Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits end to end; ensure clean audit outcomes.

• Direct and indirect tax compliance: GST (multi-state registrations typical of EPC), TDS, income tax,

and assessments.

• ROC / secretarial coordination and compliance calendar ownership.

3. F&A Operations

• Oversee billing, receivables (EPC client certification-to-collection cycle and DSO reduction),

payables, payroll accounting, and vendor reconciliations.

• Cash flow monitoring and working capital discipline across projects.

• Strengthen internal financial controls, delegation of authority, and ERP-based financial discipline

(the company operates on FCA ERP).

4. MIS &Reporting

• Own the MIS pack: project-wise profitability, budget vs. actual, receivables ageing, and cash flow

forecasts for the CFO, CEO, and MD.

• Support the CFO and the corporate finance team with data and reporting for lenders and rating

agencies.

5. Team

• Lead and develop the accounts team across head office and project sites.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

• 3–8 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, financial control, and F&A operations.

• Hands-on experience of independently closing books and managing statutory audits in a company

of meaningful scale, preferably EPC / infrastructure / construction.

Preferred

• EPC-sector exposure: project accounting, WIP, retention money, BG margin accounting, and multi-

state GST.

• Experience with ERP-driven accounting environments.

• Experience in a promoter-led or fast-growing mid-size organisation.
