Embedded Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

 Design and develop embedded software for microcontrollers, PLCs, or industrial

processors.

 Write firmware to control devices like motors, sensors, actuators, and displays.

 Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or bare-metal systems.

 Interface with hardware using serial communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN,

Modbus).

 Integrate embedded software with mechanical and electrical systems.

 Debug and optimize low-level code for performance and reliability.

 Read and interpret electronic schematics and datasheets.

 Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation.

Core Skills & Tools:

 Programming languages: C, C++, Assembly (Python is also useful for

scripting/testing).

 Microcontrollers: ARM Cortex, AVR (Arduino), PIC, STM32, ESP32, etc.

 IDEs/Tools: Keil, MPLAB, STM32CubeIDE, Arduino IDE, PlatformIO

 Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet

 Tools: Logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters

 Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) is a plus

 Version control: Git

Qualifications:

 B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or

Computer Engineering.

 2–5 years of experience in embedded systems development.

 Strong grasp of control systems, hardware interfacing, and real-time applications.

Preferred Experience:

 Working on industrial automation, robotics, or IoT-based systems.

 Exposure to PCB design or working alongside hardware teams.

 Use of simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink (for control systems).
