Junior Interior Designer

Design & Concept Development

• Assist in developing interior design concepts and mood boards.
• Prepare layouts, furniture plans, ceiling plans, flooring plans, and elevations.
• Support senior designers in developing design presentations.
• Research new design trends, materials, finishes, and furniture.

2. Technical Drawings

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare working drawings, furniture details, sections, elevations, and joinery details.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and follow project requirements.
• Make revisions based on feedback from senior designers and clients.

3. 3D Visualization

• Assist in preparing 3D models and renders using software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar.
• Develop realistic views for client presentations.
• Make design changes and revisions as required.

4. Material & Furniture Selection

• Assist in selecting materials, finishes, fabrics, furniture, lighting, sanitaryware, and accessories.
• Maintain material samples and product information.
• Coordinate with vendors for samples, quotations, and product details.

5. Site Coordination

• Visit project sites when required.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and contractors for design-related requirements.
• Check site conditions and measurements.
• Report discrepancies between drawings and site execution to the senior designer.

6. Client & Team Coordination

• Assist in preparing client presentations and design proposals.
• Incorporate client feedback into drawings and designs.
• Coordinate with senior designers, architects, project managers, vendors, and site teams.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic to good knowledge of 3D software.
• Understanding of interior materials, furniture, finishes, and construction details.
• Good knowledge of space planning and basic design principles.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work within deadlines and handle multiple projects.
