Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally (vouchers, ledgers, documentation)
- Record and monitor revenue: resident rent and fee collections, deposits, refunds and dues
- Record and control expenses: verify bills against POs and track property-wise spends
- Manage vendor payments and landlord rent payments with TDS
- Prepare and file GST and TDS returns on time
- Do bank, vendor and inter-company reconciliations
- Handle month-end and year-end closing
- Support internal and statutory audits and resolve audit queries
- Prepare MIS reports on revenue, expenses and profitability
- Guide and review the work of junior accounts staff
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent (CA Inter or MBA Finance is an advantage)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, including payables, receivables and statutory compliance
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax basics
- Proficient in Tally Prime and advanced MS Excel
- Good English (spoken and written)
- Able to handle month-end closing, reconciliations and audits independently
