Job Description
- Oversee quality control of Dry Mortar and Cementitious Tiles by managing raw material selection, batching and mixing at the factory.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Standards and European based standards for testing raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
- Monitor quality assurance processes to maintain product consistency and meet customer expectations.
- Proactively identify and resolve quality concerns to minimize product rejections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer feedback and improve quality standards.
- Provide technical support to the plant and installation teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Train the plant team on quality processes, industry standards and AAA (Appearance, Accuracy and Assurance) guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of tests, calibration reports and batch records.
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for product reliability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.
- Work with suppliers to verify raw materials meet specified quality benchmarks.
- Perform root cause analysis and apply corrective actions using methodologies like Six Sigma and FMEA.
- Optimize production processes to reduce defects, enhance efficiency and improve overall quality.
- Ensure workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability.
- Support & involve in new product developments
- Having good experience in Raw material quality check to in process Mfg Quality check, FInished goods check before matierial leaving the premises - testing, parameters, quality reports audits and documentation etc
