Job Description

Senior FMCG Merchandiser

Company: Amartex Industries Limited

Location: Panchkula, Haryana

Experience: 10–20 Years

Industry: FMCG / Retail / Supermarket / Hypermarket

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior FMCG Merchandiser to manage FMCG categories, assortment, inventory, pricing, sales performance and store execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage FMCG category merchandising and assortment planning.
  • Analyse sales, margins, SKU performance and market trends.
  • Manage inventory, replenishment, stock ageing and availability.
  • Plan pricing, promotions and seasonal offers.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, warehouse and store teams.
  • Ensure proper product placement and merchandising across stores.
  • Prepare MIS and business performance reports.
  • Lead and manage the merchandising/category team.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 10–20 years of experience in FMCG merchandising/category management.
  • Strong experience in modern trade, supermarket or large-format retail.
  • Experience with FMCG categories such as Grocery, Beverages, Personal Care and Packaged Foods.
  • Candidates from DMart, Reliance Retail, Vishal Mega Mart, More Retail, V-Mart, Spencer’s or similar companies preferred.
  • Strong skills in category management, inventory planning, vendor management, negotiation, Advanced Excel and MIS.
  • Graduate required; MBA/PGDM will be an advantage.
