Academic Counsellor

We are seeking a confident, approachable, and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents regarding courses, academic programs, admissions, and learning opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for handling inquiries, counselling prospective students, and supporting the admission process.

### Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, subjects, batches, academic programs, and learning objectives.

- Understand students' academic needs and recommend suitable courses or programs.

- Explain course structures, fee details, class schedules, faculty information, and admission procedures.

- Handle walk-in inquiries, incoming calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and online leads.

- Follow up with prospective students and parents to support admission decisions.

- Convert qualified inquiries into admissions while maintaining ethical counselling practices.

- Maintain inquiry databases, follow-up records, admission forms, and student information.

- Coordinate with teachers and management to address academic questions and student concerns.

- Inform students and parents about demo classes, assessments, schedules, and important announcements.

- Prepare daily and weekly reports on inquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.

- Build positive relationships with students and parents and provide a professional counselling experience.

### Required Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate in any discipline preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.

- Strong listening, problem-solving, and persuasion skills.

- Basic computer knowledge, MS Excel, and digital communication tools.

- Ability to manage multiple inquiries and follow-ups effectively.

- Student-focused attitude, patience, and a professional approach.

- Experience in educational counselling, admissions, sales, or coaching institutes is preferred.
