AutoCAD Draughtsman - Petrol Pumps & Pipeline

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman with specialized expertise in preparing drawings for Petrol Pumps (Retail Outlets), Warehouses, Showrooms, Pipelines, and OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) access permission drawings. The ideal candidate should have prior working experience with Oil & Gas or Telecom sector projects such as IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, GAIL, Airtel, Vodafone, or similar organizations, and should be well-versed with the statutory drawing formats and approval processes required by these companies/authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D layout drawings, site plans, and GA (General Arrangement) drawings for Petrol Pump/Retail Outlet dealership proposals as per OMC (Oil Marketing Company) formats.

Prepare warehouse and showroom layout drawings including plot plans, elevation, and floor plans.

Prepare pipeline route drawings, alignment sheets, and crossing drawings (road/rail/river crossings) as per industry standards.

Prepare OFC route alignment drawings and OFC access/way-leave permission drawings for telecom infrastructure projects.

Coordinate with clients, government departments, and site engineers to ensure drawings meet statutory and company-specific submission requirements (PESO, District Administration, NHAI, Railways, Municipal bodies, etc., as applicable).

Make timely revisions to drawings based on site survey data and client/authority feedback.

Maintain proper drawing records, version control, and documentation for all projects.

Visit sites for measurements/verification when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/ITI in Civil, Mechanical, or Draughtsman trade (or equivalent); Degree preferred but not mandatory.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant AutoCAD drafting experience, specifically in Oil & Gas (petrol pump/pipeline) or Telecom (OFC) infrastructure projects.

Prior experience working with or for IOCL/BPCL/HPCL/GAIL/Airtel/Vodafone/similar organizations or their approved contractors/consultants strongly preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (2018 or later); knowledge of AutoCAD 3D/Civil 3D is an added advantage.

Familiarity with OMC drawing formats, PESO norms, and right-of-way/way-leave permission documentation for pipelines and OFC.

Good understanding of scale, dimensioning, and site survey data interpretation.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet submission deadlines.

Good communication skills for coordinating with clients and government liaison work.
