Accounts Manager

Acube Logistics & Infra provides boom lifts, scissor lifts and cranes to project sites across India, with transport and sales divisions. Office at Highway Towers, Chinchwad, Pune.

The role: Own the accounts function with a team of two, reporting to the proprietor: monthly rental billing, recovery including matters that go legal, and books kept to finalisation standard.

Responsibilities

- Recovery: scheduled follow-ups, escalation, client ledger reconciliation; coordination with our legal team on matters that go legal

- Billing: monthly invoices from log sheets and work orders, e-invoices, credit and debit notes; approval of all invoices and vouchers

- Queries from clients, vendors, investors and the office tracked to closure; same-day replies

- Books: entries to finalisation, including interest, amortisation, depreciation and capital accounts; monthly bank, GSTR-2B and 26AS reconciliation; audit closure

- Statutory calendar: GST, TDS and other dues, nothing missed

- Monthly income and expense reporting per machine

- Systems: Tally and Google Sheets today; migration to API-enabled accounting software ahead

Requirements

- 5+ years in accounts; has closed a full year's books independently, including interest, depreciation, amortisation and capital entries

- Demonstrated payment recovery from difficult clients, including matters taken to legal

- Has managed at least one accounts executive

- Tally and Google Sheets daily; ready to adopt new software; comfortable with AI tools

- Strong communication in Hindi, Marathi and English

- Preferred: CA Inter; rental, construction, logistics or equipment industry

Terms: Six days a week, 10 am to 7 pm. One paid leave a month. Diwali bonus pro rata. Annual salary review. Selection: 90-minute written test and interview with the proprietor.
