Job Description

Cost & Estimation Engineer

Location: Nashik Phata, Bhosari & Chakan, Pune

Experience: 3–7 Years

Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Electrical Engineering

Industry: Electrical EPC – Industrial HT & LT Projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys and understand project requirements.
  • Prepare electrical drawings, SLDs and layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Prepare accurate BOM, material and manpower estimates.
  • Calculate project costing, margins and commercial offers.
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate prices.
  • Handle customer technical & commercial discussions.
  • Support project handover and execution.
  • Monitor project costs, P&L and profitability.
  • Ensure quality, documentation and timely completion.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Industrial HT & LT electrical systems.
  • Good understanding of panels, transformers, VCBs, RMUs, cables, bus ducts and earthing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
  • Strong estimation, costing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and prepare SLDs.
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
