Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Executive to manage sourcing and purchasing activities, develop reliable vendors, negotiate competitive rates, and ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase materials as per project/site requirements.
  • Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations and prepare Comparative Statements (CS).
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Stores and Accounts teams.
  • Ensure procurement meets approved specifications, quantities and makes.
  • Track open POs and resolve supply or delivery issues.
  • Maintain vendor, quotation, PO and procurement records.
  • Prepare basic procurement MIS and reports.
  • Identify alternate suppliers and opportunities for cost savings.
