Job Description-
our company is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and senior finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts, vouchers, and ledger entries
- Handle accounts payable & receivable
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
- Generate and verify invoices, receipts, and payment records
- Assist in GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations)
- Support TDS calculations and filings
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance
- Assist in monthly and annual accounts closing
- Coordinate with sales, HR, and operations teams for financial data
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Working knowledge of Tally / accounting software
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and deadline orientation
