Job Description
Department: Tool Room / Engineering
Location: J174/1, M.I.D.C., Bhosari, Pune – 411026
Reporting To: Operation Head
Job Summary: The Tooling Engineer will oversee design, development, and maintenance of tooling systems to support efficient manufacturing operations.
- Key Responsibilities Manage tool design, development, and maintenance
- Ensure availability and performance of tools for production
- Optimize tooling costs and lifecycle management
- Coordinate with production and design teams
- Implement improvements in tooling processes
- Ensure quality standards and precision in tooling
- Lead tool room team and skill development
- Key Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in tooling design and manufacturing
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems
Experience:03-10 years in tooling design, development, maintenance, and tool room operations
Industry Background: Experience in Heavy Engineering, Precision Components, or Plastic Injection Molding/ Rubber industries are preferred
